Let's revitalize the downtown area, bring more people to the businesses and get more restaurants to come in. Then come the big guns in town. The sheriff wants to buy a big building right in the middle of downtown with no access to U.S. 27, without going past and through all of the new businesses, with sirens blaring and tires squealing, chasing all the new customers away. Where is the sense in all of this?
