An Avon Park woman was cited and charged with violating a right of way after the Sebring Police Department investigated a crash early Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 27 in front of the Sweetbay Supermarket.

Lori Kline, 53, of Avon Park was driving southbound in a 2000 Toyota on U.S. 27 and attempted to turn left into the shopping center entrance, according to Sebring police.

She did not see a northbound 2007 Ford driven by Deloris Fennell, 65, of Sebring, said Police Cmdr. Steve Carr.

Both women were transported to Florida Hospital Heartland Division with non life-threatening injuries.
