As a longtime resident of Sebring and reader of Highlands Today, I would like to make the following observation:
I go to the library to do business research where the information must be entered into a laptop computer. However, I can't use my computer because the library has blanked off all electrical outlets.
Students, nor anyone else, looking to use the resources, are denied the full potential of the library.
I have visited many libraries and have always found them to be user-friendly, encouraging education a providing sitting areas and cubicles with electrical outlets.
Why can't the Sebring Library be as supportive to its taxpayers as would be users as other communities? I'm looking forward to using the library.
