The following people were booked Friday, Jan. 16 through Monday, Jan. 19 into the Highlands County Jail:

Carlos Emilio Bernier, 38, of Avon Park, on a charge of aggravated battery.

Henry Donald Brewington, 49, of 7108 Spring Hill Drive, Sebring, on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

David Ivan Dishman, 42, of 2450 Avon Park Blvd., Avon Park, was sentenced to 38 days in jail on an affidavit of noncompliance referencing violation of probation in reference to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), first offense.

Joseph Thomas Dunihue, 33, of DeLand, on a charge of violation of probation in reference to DUI.

Teresa Helene McNee, 25, of 2509 Bluff Hammock, Lorida, on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Clayton David Nott, 54, of Wintersprings, was sentenced to 45 days in jail for DUI, first offense.

Judson Wayne Owens, 18, of Avon Park, on a warrant charging felony battery, second or subsequent offense.

Brandon Michael Vangieson, 19, of 4929 Sparta Road, Sebring, on warrants charging fraud, dealing in stolen property, burglary of an unoccupied dwelling while unarmed and grand theft, third degree.

Juan Miguel Vera-Vita, 38, of Miami, on charges of marijuana distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with an expired license and driving while license is suspended, first offense.

Adam Norman Wallace, 18, of 558 Broad St., Sebring, on charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon, resisting an officer without violence and carrying a prohibited weapon openly.

Brian Adrian Welch, 24, of Avon Park, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked and warrants charging tampering with a witness in a first-degree felony investigation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm in public and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, charges of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender, and resisting an officer without violence and two warrants charging violation of pretrial release.
