In reference to Leonard Pitts's column: Eagerly Awaiting History's Verdict" on Jan. 18: Mr. Pitts, you once again amaze me. Your poison pen strikes again, another liberal left point of view without regard to truth or fairness.
This is still America, no one has tapped my phone and if they did I would be proud to say there was nothing there of my or the country's concern.
This is still America where majority rules; where the belief in God is what the "majority" identifies with. I hope and pray that President Obama is successful in pulling these politicians together (doubtful.) I hope he can press for term limits for the all elected officials. It will be the only way to start to clean up the federal government.
There are enough errors made by Republicans and Democrats with regards to the current economic situation, maybe President Obama can see through all the smoke screens and clean house. What happened to honesty, decency and concern for the people of America? Get rid of the crooks, liars and cheats. President Obama, please get our country on track once again.
