The following people were booked Thursday, Jan. 15 into the Highlands County Jail:

Dawn Nicole Campbell, 35, of 1228 Melody Lane, Sebring, on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with violence and battery on an officer.

Charles Michael Detore, 61, of 2420 S. State Road 17, Avon Park, on a warrant referencing stopping payment with intent to defraud ($150 or more).

Javis Brian Fuller, 24, Lake Placid, on warrants referencing possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jason Wade Runner, 19, of 802 E. Canfield St., Avon Park, on charges of possession of liquor by a person under 21 years of age, first offense, and fleeing/eluding police.

Nathaniel Waugh, 24, of Lake Placid, on charges of kidnapping, battery, felony battery and burglary with assault or battery.
