Curtain Going Up For 'Don't Drink The Water'

SEBRING - The play "Don't Drink the Water" will open tonight at the Highlands Little Theatre in Sebring.

There will be shows tonight and Jan. 17 at 8. A matinee performance is set for 2:30 p.m. Jan. 18.

Dance Club Featuring The Skylarks

SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club hosts ballroom dancing tonight from 7 - 9:30 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.

Music will be provided by the big band, The Skylarks.

Free ballroom dance instruction is available at 6:30 p.m.

All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress required.

Admission is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.

Music, Later Store Hours In LP North Main

LAKE PLACID - "Night on North Main Avenue" will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. today in Lake Placid. About 13 stores and shops will have later hours.

Gary Filip is going to entertain at the event that is put on by the merchants in the area between Dal Hall Boulevard and Belleview Avenue.

Dr. Icky Nicky (Dr. Nick Reed), a new clown, will be there.

Various DJs To Entertain At Sunset Grille

SEBRING - Entertainment is planned this weekend at the Sunset Grille in Sebring.

DJ Tech will be at the restaurant, located at 2650 U.S. 27 S., tonight from 10 to 2 a.m.

DJ Geo and Karaoke Fever will be there Jan. 17 from 8 p.m. until closing.

Old School Entertainment DJ and Karaoke will be there Jan. 18 from 3 - 9 p.m.

The best Karaoke performer Saturday and Sunday will win a free dinner.

Snow Fest Rolls Around In Sebring

SEBRING - The fourth annual Snow Fest will be held Jan. 17 at Sebring International Raceway.

The fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person. Children 3 and under can get in free.

Sebring Mobile Estates To Serve Breakfast

SEBRING - Sebring Mobile Estates, located off Kenilworth Boulevard, will serve breakfast from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Jan. 17.

The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, sausage gravy and biscuits, orange juice and coffee.

Dance Planned At Sebring Village

SEBRING - A dance will be held in the Sebring Village Clubhouse, which is located one mile behind Wal-Mart off Schumacher Road, from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. Jan. 17.

Frank E. will provide the entertainment.

The cost is $3.50 for members and $5 for non-members.

'West Side Story' To Be Shown At LP Library

LAKE PLACID - The movie "West Side Story" will be shown at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at Lake Placid Memorial Library.

There is no charge for admission. The popcorn and lemonade are also free.
