The Highlands County YMCA's annual open house today will feature discounted joiner's fees, demonstrations, free refreshments and information on new programming.
The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YMCA, just off the corner of Hammock and Lakewood roads.
"We're going to have a bounce house for the kids, and ice cream sundaes, hot dogs and all the fixings and drinks, and cotton candy, all free," said Dave Scheck, the Y's program manager.
