The following people were booked Thursday, Feb. 19 into the Highlands County Jail:
Terrell Devon Carpenter, 21, of 124 Zion St., Lake Placid, on Brevard County warrants charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine.
Melvin Daniels, 19, of 1200 W. Stratford Road, Avon Park, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to grand theft.
Lorisma William Desilus, 20, of 806 Boardman St., Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church with the intent to sell or deliver.
Tratavis Marki Holmes, 23, of 117 Compass Ave., Lake Placid, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine with the intent to sell or deliver.
Jose Bautista Tellez, 23, of Dover, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle with a valid license.
Adam Marc Turetsky, 44, of 356 Henscratch Road, Lake Placid, on charges of litter in any quantity for commercial purposes, storage, process and dispose of solid waster except at a permitted solid waste dump and storage/disposal of solid wastes within 500 feet of portable drinking water.
