The fact that the county commissioners do not want to require the E-Verify system for workers-employees of county related contracts is wrong. Labor is a huge disappointment to me in light of all the illegal immigrants who are knowingly employed in our county as well as our state and country at large. We are the government, so let's not shirk our local responsibility.
