Museum Expansion Topic At Homeowners Meeting

Three guest speakers are scheduled for the Highlands County Homeowners Association meeting Monday morning.

The proposed expansion of the Military Sea Services Museum will be discussed by Howard Fleetwood and Highlands County Commissioner Guy Maxcy.

Also, Highlands County Property Appraiser Raymond McIntyre will discuss property appraisals and the resulting effect on property taxes due in November.

The homeowners association meeting, open to the public, runs from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Sebring Country Estates Club House, 3420 Grand Prix Drive, just west of U.S. 27.

In addition to the guest speakers, the monthly meetings feature reports on issues ranging from veterans services and county government to code enforcement, the school board, parks and recreation and law enforcement.
