In response to Judee VanBrookhoven's comment on Highlands Little Theatre as to many vacant seats.
I live on the west side of U.S. 27 and do not drive; otherwise I would like to see the performances. There are a lot of us senior citizens here in town, but due to the lack of transportation, we are limited to where we can go. We cannot get to downtown to the library or to the government center, nor anything that involves downtown Sebring.
I loved being in a town that had public transportation. Boy, was I surprised to find out here that there is no way to even get across U.S. 27, without taking your life in your own hands. We are confined to this side of town, unless you have a good neighbor.
