Our community recently lost a hard working friend after a long and courageous fight against prostate cancer. Rick Moyer will be remembered for his charitable work, educational efforts concerning cancer research and many other efforts.
He and his wife, Jean, have touched many with their community and charitable activities.
Rick was also an excellent journalist, sports reporter and an unparalleled sales executive, but most importantly, a true and loyal friend to many of us. He was indeed a person with whom you were proud to be associated. He was also a great father and husband.
Our loss is Heaven's gain. Rest in peace, our friend. You deserve it!
