I see a lot of complaints about how things are going, but few solutions. I will try to give a few here.
First: We should make drugs legal. This would save billions in law enforcement and bring in billions in taxes (like what happened with liquor). It would also take away a lot of money from al-Qaida and Taliban terrorists.
Second: Bring home all of our troops on foreign soil. We could use the billions that it is costing for infrastructure repairs and put thousands back to work.
Third: Why do we have an embargo on Cuba and none on China? All it does is hurt the common people.
Fourth: Leave Iran with their own problems. The people there will solve them without our interferences.
Fifth: We should have a value added tax like all other countries have and maybe some of our jobs would come back.
If we don't manufacture anything, how can we expect to reduce unemployment?
