Please understand; most of us are okay. It is a small minority that disrupts our society, but when we witness wrongdoing and do nothing, we are also guilty. For example: my generation, the children of the Greatest Generation, pursued pot, marijuana, which led to cocaine and LSD, etc (not all of us.) We thought nothing of it, not conscious these drugs just don't go away. We accumulated and passed them on to future generations, not considering that years later the results would become evident, the amount and substance ingested dictating the degree of results.
We flouted our cultural traditions to "do our thing" not considering the consequences. The institution of matrimony, sanctified by Christ himself some 2,000 years ago, the very core of family life, has become a social event, not the culmination of family. Now there is a "discussion" of equating anything other than one man one woman as the same. Thus, when parents neglect their children's education, when they fail to teach them ethical and moral concepts of family life and cultural principles, they cripple our civilization.
Corporate America has played a major role in the deterioration of our society-nation. Greed, the bottom line (profit,) has been the basis of fighting any effort of working people to improve their lives. The simple goal to achieve "a piece of the pie" led to the development of our middle class, the envy of the world, but that goal was bought with the bloody struggle of tens of thousands of workers, only to be lost again in these last few years.
Bankers, et all, have been painfully slow in providing credit to businesses and home owners, thus plugging the stream of funds through our economy.
Thus, the very entities that created this abysmal crisis capitalized their free bailouts and left the American public derelict.
