Police say they arrested two men after they opened fire at another car while all were driving down Lakeview Drive Thursday night.
Kiefer Ruben Filppula, 18, of 3838 Skipper Road, and William Anthony Mason, 23, both of Sebring, were charged with committing a felony act that could cause death, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and firing a missile into a dwelling, vehicle, building or aircraft.
Mason was also charged with possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon.
The victim called police and said he was being followed by a red Trans Am and the armed people in the car were trying to get him to pull over, according to the arrest report.
"As I got closer to the area, dispatch stated (the victim) had pulled into Veterans Beach and the suspect was now shooting at him," Sebring Police Officer Chad Landry wrote in the arrest report.
The car was seen on Don Street and a traffic stop was conducted. Filppula was driving and Mason was the passenger, the report stated.
Filppula said he did not have a weapon on him and the officers could search his vehicle. No gun or ammo was found inside.
The victim was brought to the area and reportedly positively identified Mason as the person who fired the gun and Filppula as the driver of the Trans Am.
