The following people were booked Wednesday, Dec. 9 into the Highlands County Jail:
Hemal Rohit Dave, 29, of Okeechobee, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of alprazolam.
John Patrick Jolly, 27, of 201 Montego Drive, Sebring, on a warrant charging burglary with assault or battery.
George Thomas Larosa, 36, of 816 Henscratch Road, Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 20 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) involving property damage.
Homero Mendoza, 23, of 1809 Rainbow Ave., Sebring, on a warrant charging burglary of an unoccupied conveyance while unarmed.
Josue Resto Ortiz, 21, of 2215 W. Citrus Road, Avon Park, on charges of aggravated battery, robbery with a weapon and a public order crime.
Mary Lou Pitts, 50, of Frostproof, on warrants charging scheming to defraud under $20,000 and grand theft of $10,000 or more.
Marlo Sherita White, 39, of 1307 Cummings Ave., Avon Park, on a warrant charging false and fraudulent insurance claim.
