My husband and I went to see the movie "Blind Side" in Sebring. It was a must-see movie, a true story that shows love and compassion to a boy from the projects. You need Kleenex to watch it, but it has a good ending.
However, I am writing to say we witnessed something that day that really upset us. The couple in front of us was sitting in a handicapped seating area. The usher came down and asked them to move as there was a man in a wheelchair who needed to sit there. They refused even though there were many seats available.
They insisted he could get the chair in front of them, but he could not as their feet and legs took up too much room for him to maneuver his chair.
My husband spoke to them but they still refused to move. Both of us were very upset. We hope they never have to be in a wheelchair. May God forgive them.
