Help homeless animals

»  Comments | Post a Comment

More than 125 homeless animals will spend Christmas in cages at the Humane Society of Highlands County. We are trying to make their Christmas special. Petco and Pet Supermarket are sponsoring a "Tree of Hope."

We are asking people to pick a card off the tree with an animal's name on it and buy that animal a gift. Gifts can be left in donation boxes at each of the stores, or brought directly to the shelter.

Monetary donations can be mailed to the shelter, Humane Society, 7321 Haywood Taylor Blvd., Sebring, FL. 33870. Location is on Haywood Taylor Boulevard, near the Sebring Airport.

If anyone would like to do a large group donation we can arrange to have it picked up. Call Judy Spiegel for more information at 214-6508. The Humane Society needs your help to get through this difficult time; it is open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
