The city of Sebring needs to fill three positions on its Planning and Zoning Board by January.

The city is looking for one regular member and two alternates, according to Lee Tolar, code enforcement official for the city's building department.

Applicants may get an application online at www.mysebring.com, then click on City Boards, then Voluntary Board Applications. Simply fill it out and print a copy.

Those interested can also go to city hall and pick up a copy, said Tolar. Interested people can also call Tolar at (863) 471-5102.

The planning and zoning board is an advisory board to the city council. It deals with development and growth issues and hears appeals concerning zoning.

At least seven of the nine members must be residents of the city of Sebring.

Two of the nine members may be nonresidents of the city of Sebring, must have an ownership interest in real property located within the city of Sebring and be residents of Highlands County.
