The following people were being sought by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office on active warrants as of Thursday, Dec. 3.

Ira James Garland, 39, of 4511 DeSoto Road, Sebring: Non support of children or spouse.

Jessica M. McPeek, 29, of 101 Danbar Drive, Lake Placid: Failure to appear on a charge of issuing/obtaining property with a check.

Javier Ortiz Perez, 34, of 224 Sarasota St., Lake Placid: Violation of probation in reference to battery.

Stacy Allen Taylor, 39, of 24 E. Walnut St., Avon Park: Violation of probation in reference to knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.
