Officers with the Sebring Police Department will be out at Sebring Middle School Tuesday and Thursday for their Active Shooter Response Training.
Part of that training will include firing blank rounds, but Cmdr. Steve Carr wants the surrounding neighborhood to know those gunshots are simply part of the exercises.
The class runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
