The following people were booked Thursday, July 30 into the Highlands County Jail:

Bobby Ray Baker, 35, of Auburndale, on a charge of violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Steve Vincent Cherniss, 46, of Hollywood, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence and possession of cocaine.

Arthur Pell Irving, 54, of 2305 Sagecrest Drive, Sebring, on a Polk County warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Julian Eric Johnson, 30, of 1302 Schlosser Road, Sebring, on warrants charging grand theft, trespassing, interfering with railroad track or equipment and dealing in stolen property.

Justin Walter Lewis, 23, of 1418 Gardwood Ave., Sebring, on warrants charging possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and the sale of marijuana.
