Early-morning fire destroys Sebring mobile home

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Firefighters were again battling a mobile home blaze early Thursday morning.

Crews with the Lorida and city of Sebring fire departments responded to Tubbs Ranch Road, but were unable to save the home. A family of four - two adults and two children - living in the residence were assisted by the Highlands County American Red Cross. No injuries were reported.

The blaze was an accidental electrical fire, according to Sam Venzeio with the state fire marshal's office. Total damage was $70,000.

A fire that destroyed a mobile home on Holmes Court Tuesday in Sebring was also determined to be accidental, Venzeio said. The damages in that blaze were estimated at $35,000.

Three people escaped from that home uninjured.
