Sun N' Lakes victim identified

Investigators have identified the body found Monday in the Sun N' Lakes subdivision in Lake Placid.

Jose A. Cabrera Cirino, 48, of Sebring, was found at 3:48 p.m., in the undeveloped eastern portion of the subdivision, according to a Highlands County Sheriff's Office press release. He is listed as a white male of apparent Hispanic origin.

The death is being investigated as a homicide and authorities are seeking information about the crime itself, as well as friends and associates of the victim.
