I really dislike writing a letter about political subjects but after watching the banking hearings, chaired by Sen. Dodd, I must speak out with a plan I believe would save the United States from a takeover by our politicians without our say so. Here is my plan:
When you go to the polls, vote out everyone with eight or more years in office and vote in all new people. The reason is that new people will not be corrupted by "old" people.
It's like a fresh apple will rot when put in with rotten apples. The new man or woman has to represent the people. If old representatives are left in they will corrupt the new, fresh faces to their way of thinking.
America needs a total change in the Senate and the House of Representatives. Don't vote for a party like a trained seal, vote new in and old out. Change the government: eight years out. That goes for the Kennedys and the Bushes; vote them all out for a new fresh government. If you don't, this country is in big trouble.
Like my mom told me 70 years ago, there is no two-party system, they're all one. Bless her soul.
