I read the article "are we safer," but I wonder if we truly are and will we remain so? Sarah Palin is going to be breastfeeding her baby. I breastfed two of mine and she made a commendable choice. The job of raising children and the job of vice president both require vigilance and alertness.
My point is, will the terrorists think she is distracted and choose to strike us again? Criminals look for opportunity then they do their deed. We don't ever want to be caught unaware again.
The job of vice president is not a "learn as you go job" as they have stated. She has the stamina, but it requires more than that. She doesn't have the broad spectrum experience that's needed. I don't think she's ready right now. We are in a violent up-ended world, and we have to keep our eyes on the prize, the prize being the United States of America and the American people. We do not need another war, we need peace.
