Are you ready for some indescribable "happy news?" I have just seen "Aida" at the Highlands Little Theatre under the direction the brilliant Tammie Pollard.
From the beginning to the end, I was mesmerized. There is such a long list of talented people that I cannot name all of them.
If you are a "regular" Highlands Little Theatre person (and I hope you are) you will know all of them and welcome the large group of "newcomers."
The rapidity of the beautiful scenery and costume changes was awesome. Kelly Pelham, Virginia Leach, Christopher Hayos, Larry McCandless - watch out Broadway, will want them!
We don't want to forget the large group of tireless "back stage people" who understudy and do the "not nice jobs." I would like to go on record and say that this has been a most awesome show, and I just wish I had the talent to describe it better. To all of you who haven't seen this show, hurry to get a ticket. You won't regret it.
