Amendment Two

»  Comments | Post a Comment

It is once in a lifetime that we get the opportunity to preserve a human institution and take action to change the outcome of history. Right now, this is our moment in history here in Florida with Amendment Two on the ballot on Nov. 4.
A "Yes" vote on Amendment Two defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman, which is most beneficial for the common good of society. Marriage creates families, the very foundation our society is built upon, and without it we will surely crumble as a nation.
Think about this for a moment, traditional marriage actually protects children. Amendment Two protects our children from being taught in public schools that the same sex marriage is the same as natural marriage. If same sex marriage is legalized in Florida, public schools will be forced to teach your children and grandchildren that homosexual marriages are equal to marriages between a man and a woman. Since homosexual marriage was legalized in Massachusetts, public school teachers are now being forced to teach this very thing.
Decades of research and more than 10,000 studies prove that kids do best physically, emotionally and socially when raised in a home with a married mom and dad. The vote on whether marriage will remain as one man and one woman in Florida is going to be extremely close folks. Your vote does count! Vote "Yes" on Amendment Two.
