I have always believed the price of fuel would come down if we would just go ahead and drill for it. One political party says, "It will take 10 years to get any results from drilling." Think about it. Another political party says, "There is enough oil and natural gas in a remote area of Alaska under pressure. All we have to do is stick a pipe in the ground and it will come spewing out.
It would provide fuel for America for many years at $1.50 a gallon and natural gas for many more years. Think about it. I am sure both parties are exaggerating somewhat, but think about it. One of these parties, I am told, now has legislation in place, if they win the election, to cancel all drilling, offshore and in Alaska. I used to own a gas station in the Pittsburgh area and sold gas for 19.9 cents a gallon and diesel for 7 cents a gallon. We have sure come a long way, haven't we? I think not! Be careful what you wish-vote for, you just might get it.
