DeSoto junior Marcus Shaw had six touchdowns -- five in the first half alone -- to lead the Bulldogs to a 48-12 district victory over Sebring at Firemen's Field.
Shaw, who finished with 229 yards on 18 carries, rushed for four touchdowns in the first half and intercepted Sebring's first pass of the game, taking it 45 yards for a score. He had touchdown runs of 16, 45, one, three, and 22 yards to equal a six-touchdown performance last week against Bayshore.
DeSoto sophomore Derrick Hillard added a 40-yard score with 9:23 left in the third to put the game on ice.
Sebring sophomore Matt Grubb threw two touchdown passes and Daniel Burnett had 13 carries for 50 yards in the loss.
