Phony Mahoney

I disagree to some extent with your recent op-ed piece on Congressman Mahoney. Putting his sexual peccadilloes aside, Mr. Mahoney, who purports himself to be a blue dog conservative Democrat, voted in lock step with the party line of Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her far left cadre of liberal socialists.
If you had researched Mr. Mahoney's voting record, you have found that he supported the billions in bailout legislation as well as just about every pork barrel project in sight. His voting record in no way could be considered conservative.
Your conclusion is correct, however. Mr. Mahoney deserves no consideration whatsoever in his re-election bid.
