Avon Park, Lake Placid and Sebring are gearing up for their annual Christmas parades.
The Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce will hold its Christmas parade Dec. 5. The theme is "Home for the Holidays."
The deadline for entries is Nov. 17. The parade will be limited to 100 units.

Avon Park's parade is set for Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
Applications are available at the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce, 28 E. Main St., or by calling 453-3350.
Lake Placid's parade will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. This year's theme is "A Red, White & Blue Christmas."
There is no entry fee. Entries are limited to the first 100 participants. The deadline to enter is Nov. 21.
The parade will step off at the corner of Dal Hall Boulevard and North Main Avenue and proceed south on North Main until reaching Interlake Boulevard. The route will then head east on Interlake to U.S. 27.
Only floats and other entrants will be allowed on Dal Hall and North Main after 5 p.m. on parade day.
