Avon Park 40, LaBelle 0

Avon Park senior quarterback Albert Moses accounted for three touchdowns on Friday night to lead the Red Devils (1-5) to their first victory of the season with a 40-0 rout of LaBelle (0-6).

Moses threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 66 yards and another score, while senior tailback Virgil Cooper had 74 yards, two touchdowns and five knockdowns on defense. Sophomore receiver Alonzo Robertson was Moses' favorite target, catching five passes for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
