'Terror Trail' Open Again At Humane Society

SEBRING - The Humane Society of Highlands County is sponsoring the "Terror Trail" today and Oct. 11 at 7321 Haywood Taylor Blvd., near Sebring Regional Airport.

Children 13 and under can walk on the trail from 7 - 8 p.m. The cost is $4 per person.

Older teens and adults can visit from 8 - 10 p.m. The cost is $6 per person.

Gallery Walk Starts Again In Sebring

SEBRING - The Gallery Walk resumes again tonight from 6 - 9 in downtown Sebring.

Venues will include: Le Attique, Steve & Co., Golden Pineapple, Circle Salon, Linda's Bookstore, Great Atlantic Tee Shirts, Charlie's Steak & Seafood, Brenner Potter, Friends of the Library, Photography by Mike, Wild Artist Jewelry & Beads, Janet King Studio, and the downtown Sebring Chamber of Commerce.

BackStage Pass To Play At Watering Hole

SEBRING - BackStage Pass will be playing at the Watering Hole on U.S. 27 in Sebring today and Oct. 11 from 9.30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

Highlands Social Dance Club Features The Legacy Allstars

SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club hosts ballroom dancing tonight from 7 - 10 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.

Music will be provided by the Legacy Allstars.

Free ballroom dance instruction from Walt and Sue is available at 6:30 p.m.

All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress is required.

Admission is $4 for members and $6 for non-members.

Firewise Day Planned At Sun 'N Lake Of Sebring

SEBRING - Sun 'n Lake of Sebring will be hosting the Firewise Day on Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. - noon at the Sun 'n Lake Community Center, 3500 Edgewater Drive

This event will be a fun, family event including local forestry and structural firefighters, fire equipment and Smokey Bear.

Games, prizes and cake will be available for all who attend. Educational displays will consist of wildfire and fire protection for the home and family.
