A Sun 'n Lake man was in stable condition at Florida Hospital Heartland Division after the Highlands County Sheriff's Office reported he was stabbed early Sunday morning.
Lt. Keith Starling reported that Gerald Boyd, 27, was stabbed by an unknown number of assailants in his driveway, at 5414 Granada Blvd.
Starling said Sunday that Boyd's wife drove the victim to the hospital parking lot, where hospital staffers found him.
