Veterans Parade

I would like to take this time to say many thanks to VFW Post 4300, American Legion Posts 74 and 25, AMVETS Post 21, DAV, Highlands County Sheriff's Department, Lake Placid ROTC, Avon Park ROTC, Shriners, City of Sebring, Lorida Fire Department, Elks Club, ANC Battery B SCT. Metz Avon Park, Highlands Band, Toby the Clown, just to name a few that supported the Veterans Day Parade this year.

Thank you to all of the people who took time out of their day to stand along the parade route to wave their flags. Thank you also to the (Iraq) veterans who helped with phone calls and making the signs.

Again, thank you Highlands County for the support you have shown your veterans; that's something to be proud of. Until next year.
