The American Legion Post 69 and the Women's Auxiliary Unit 69 Avon Park held a very successful turkey raffle and casino night. The money raised will be used to benefit veterans, children and youths.

We wish to thank the following people and businesses who donated items for the silent auction: Heartland Bank, Highlands Independent Bank, The Studio of Health and Beauty, Darlene Watkins, Hendricks Grocery, Posh Day Salon, Bob Burke of Sun 'n Lake Country Club, Annie Sederback, Tom Houpe, Jim Houpe and to Publix Supermarket in Avon Park for working with us on the turkey raffle. A very big thank you to our volunteers who helped make the casino night a very fun time.
