For the past two weeks I have been sitting on the corner of Interlake Boulevard, in Lake Placid with my choices for elected officials. As many know I sat there for a lot of hours.
I wish to thank all of you who waved; the ones with thumbs up, and the ones with thumbs down. Your opinion in a civil way was appreciated. Those of you with comments such as "you SOB, take that n-----! sign down, 10th Amendment, I will forgive you but one day you will answer to a higher power.
My hope is that He will forgive the person with derogatory signs and yelling obscene words. Take a good look the next time in a mirror.
This is my first time involved in any campaign, but all of us need to voice our opinion with a vote! I simply cannot believe some of the smears that are coming from Tallahassee, smears about our sheriff, our newspaper; what lies! Is this what we are in for if the state is so involved that they want to control even our newsprint?
If you think this is made up listen to 105.7: not their views but paid ads from the state. For you out there that don't know, Jesus was a man of color, look it up.
