A mix of emotions was evident over the weekend as parents, guardians, family members and friends gathered for one of the most significant events in a young person's life - graduating from high school.
Joy, relief, sadness, excitement were no doubt felt among the approximately 700 seniors in Highlands County's three public high schools during graduation ceremonies.
The county's private schools, Walker Memorial Academy and Heartland Christian School, held their ceremonies last month.
Tiny Liberty Christian Academy will recognize its two graduating seniors this week.
Congratulations to all of the graduates. We wish them all the best in whatever endeavor they choose to pursue.
