I am writing this letter in hopes that it will reach all of the special people who were there for Bill and I during our journey together. Our family could not begin to tell everyone how much we appreciated all the special words of encouragement, prayers, cards, or anything you did to help carry us along. Here is a poem that says it all.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair
Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts
We thank you so much whatever the part.
I wanted to write this to let anyone whom we could not thank personally, how much we appreciate everyone and their support. We will miss him for the rest of this earthly life but I know that we will meet again in the next life.
Thank you for being there to share in our special memories.
