SEBRING - Congressman Mahoney will tour the site of the new Veterans Services Building, for which he helped secure a $400,000 grant to expand the office's capacity to assist local Veterans, from noon until 1:30 p.m.on Saturday, June 21, located at 7205 S. George Blvd. Sebring. Mahoney will also present an official flag to the Highlands Veterans Service Officer, Joseph A. Dionne. Joseph plans to walk the Congressman back to the property site of the proposed new VSO building.
Congressman Mahoney will also join the Highlands County Department of Planning to announce a $277,000 grant, awarded to support conservation planning and acquisition of vital habitat for threatened and endangered fish, wildlife and plants.
