With today's gas prices rising like they are, I would like to know why we are having ethanol shoved down our throats like the gas companies are doing. I for one have found that if I burn ethanol in my car, which is a Toyota Avalon 2008, my gas mileage will drop by four to five miles per gallon. In the end I will use more gas.
I believe that there are more readers in the same boat as me. It takes so much ground water, that we do not have here in Florida to produce ethanol.
Why are we unable to buy gas without ethanol? Check you mileage, see what a difference it makes. Gas did not go down in price due to the use of ethanol like the oil companies said it would.
