The justice system should take the people who have been charged with animal cruelty very seriously and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
Two recent cases in Tampa, where both offenders had previous charges of animal cruelty, ended up with the murder of three people and a dog. And the other offender was charged with assault and battery and rape.
If these offenders had been prosecuted in the beginning on the animal cruelty charges, there may have never been senseless deaths of human lives.
