The out-sourcing and the hiring of illegals, the hiring of guest workers, have all caused a decline of America's wage scale, and is directly the cause of our collapsed economy. Our young men and women who are fighting this illegal war in Iraq will be very upset when this war is brought to a close and they come home to a job market that has been filled with illegals and guest workers. There will be many thousands of unemployed veterans who will not take kindly to not being able to get jobs that they feels should be theirs.
The Democrats are unwilling to debate illegal immigration, and guest workers who are not needed when we have a declining economy. If they are unwilling to represent the American working class, then the next president will more than likely be Mitt Romney, who has taken a strong stand on illegals and guest workers, and to take a look at all the "unfair trade deals."
Also with America's unions, we do not need unions that allow corporations to sit on both sides of the negotiation table. The Congress has allowed this to happen in government and are not representatives for the American people. Corporations can take care of themselves.
Congress should be representing "we the people." Those corporations who send jobs off shore should have to pay huge tariffs to bring their good made on foreign soil back to America. Corporations of foreign nations have relocated their industries on American soil to bypass tariffs. It has been fair to both the American worker and the foreign corporation. Japan's car industry is one example.
American industries who go off-shore should be able to sell in the host nation, but should not be allowed to sell in American without a huge tariff. American industry wants it both ways, violating the rights of all American workers.
Both political parties have violated the rights of the American worker. Corporations control both political parties.
