My wife and I agree with your scathing comments on children's fashions in your Sunday column.

Would you or could you be equally courageous and write another about the "Chew Don't Smile" piece which appeared adjacent to yours?

How can responsible adults representing a national organization such as the Girl Scouts promote a contest that requires young girls to stuff a half box of cookies down their throats in the space of two minutes. You strike me as a person of good sense with the ability to articulate a good response to that dumbest of contests. Thanks.
