Two Girls Injured In ATV Crash

Sebring - As of Tuesday, the Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating an ATV accident that injured two girls, one of them seriously Saturday night.

Highlands Today has not received any more information on the accident.

Lt. Keith Starling of the Highlands County Sheriffs Office said that one of the girls was taken to Tampa General Hospital after being seriously injured after the two fell while driving on Cherry Road near Sebring. The other that fell off the ATV was treated and released at a nearby hospital. A third girl remained on the ATV and was uninjured.

The identities of the three girls were still not available by Tuesday.

According to Starling, the accident took place at approximately 11 p.m.
