On behalf of VFW Post 4300 Honor Guard, thank you Ron Weidner and your veterans group for your donation toward our van fund. As you are aware, the honor guard is not a funded organization, therefore we rely upon donations from organizations such as yours and others.
Our van is a blessing to us in that it helps keep at least 11 of us off the streets with our cars during our trips throughout the county for funerals, memorial services and other activities that the honor guard has been invited to take part in. That being said, it is expensive to operate and keep the van on the road.
Anyone else who would like to donate to the honor guard, please make checks payable to VFW Post 4300, memo to honor guard van fund, and mail to 1041 Lakeview Drive, Sebring, FL. 33870-7949, or just come in and drop it off at the post. Again, thank you Ron and your group for all that you have done for our group.
