The following people were booked Thursday, Dec. 11 into the Highlands County Jail:

Adrian Dewayne Johnson, 27, of 304 Fred Conner St., Avon Park, on charges of battery of an officer, resisting an officer with violence and possession of cocaine.

Joseph Dewayne Kavrik, 31, of 314 Dove Ave., Sebring, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender.

Robert Perry Kelly, 26, of 112 Waters Edge Lane, Lake Placid, was sentenced to five months in jail for possession of cocaine.

Charleston Keith Lockett, 48, of Sebring, on a charge of cruelty toward a child.

Justin Wayne Mosser, 20, of 5324 E. S.R. 64, Avon Park, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and leaving the scene of a crash involving damage.
