Who ever wrote the reviews for the current saga, "Australia", and panned it, needs to go back to review school. I and a group of my friends spent the most exciting theater experience of the year yesterday evening at the Lakeshore Mall.
The story kept us on the edge of our seat from start to finish. "Australia," in my book, will go down in the record books along with such greats as "Gone with the Wind", and "Titanic." If it doesn't sweep the Oscars this year, the people in Hollywood need their heads screwed on right; and to think, we almost didn't go because it was supposedly too "sentimental," too "sappy" and too "over long."
